Listening to Shards you first wonder whether it’s going to burst into a hard house floor filler, and yet it turns out to be something quite different, but equally compels one to jump up and down erratically. A proper floor filling monster.

Claiming to be founder members of ‘Art Beat’ Idiosync play a blend of progressive rock, post-hardcore, breakbeat and math-pop. They combine a number of different elements to create a style somewhere between math-rock / art-rock and drum ‘n’ bass / breakbeat, hence the term ‘Art-beat’.

They are recording their EP now and heading out on a UK tour in August, which we suggest is a show not to be missed.
