Peter Lyons ‘Old Friends’ performed upstairs at the Brighton Flea market.

Admittedly I was a bit dubious at what to expect from Peter’s electro folk sound when he rocked up with a raging hangover, a guitar and a drum machine lacking a power supply (!). But beauty reveals itself in the most unusual of places at the most unlikely times. Somehow everything fell together and he unleashed this brutally honest rendition of Old Friends on us, and a few unsuspecting saturday morning shoppers….
