Mice Parade ‘In Between Times’
‘In Between Times’ is directed by Meredith Godreau, and taken from the forthcoming album ‘What It Means To Be Left Handed’ released through FatCat on 27th September.
“It took many tries to get the feel right because the song has many textures and moods and is fairly long. The end result is a combination of stop-motion and digital video … You come home to unwind and your mind begins to wander into a dizzying fantasy land. Here, you contemplate your downtimes versus your busy times – your mental ‘ice storms’ – and feel the lightness of being alive.” (Meredith Godreau)
‘What It Means To Be Left-Handed’ is the new full-length from Mice Parade. It is the first to be released in the band’s second decade of existence, the sixth to be released through FatCat.
The live band is a force to be reckoned with; they will be taking their 2 drumkits and 7 people out on the road worldwide this autumn and winter, hitting the UK with Silje Nes and Europe with Laetitia Sadier (Stereolab) supporting in October.
