Summary

Everything in this music video was filmed in one day on the same stage at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on Sunday 17th June, 2018, including the song which was recorded live during the performance.

The day began with a diverse range of loving couples from Manchester, who took to the stage to be filmed by Arnold and photographed by Andy Fallon over the course of 7 hours. In the evening, Arnold and Lindsay Kemp presented a special performance of the song to accompany the eventual video, backed by Emmanuel Vass on piano and The Manchester Lesbian and Gay Chorus.

As part of an ongoing project, 'What Love Would Want' is a living art installation and performance piece that tours cities across the globe and films loving couples within the community of each city. The project?s aim is to promote love, diversity and inclusivity.

'What Love Would Want 'was Lindsay Kemp's final performance on the British stage. He passed away just a few months after.
