Tellison // Good Luck Its Christmas
Apparently Huw Stephens played this bad boy on Radio One. Its my favourite of all the christmas songs I’ve heard this year, so I have to admit Huw has good taste…

We’ve teamed up with This Is Not Revolution Rock and a whole gaggle of fine local artists to bring you probably the best rendition of ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’ single since the original (well…maybe…?). All proceeds for the single go to Shelter, the outstanding housing and homelessness charity, so give us yer firkin’ money!
Taken from the recent Tellison album ‘The Wages Of Fear’ here’s the bands latest single ‘Edith’. Last year we were lucky enough to record an OffBeat session with the band when they performed an early stripped back version of the song, in the middle of a lake, which you can watch here…
Tellison are set to release their much anticipated, brand new, Peter Miles (Futures, Frank Turner, We Are The Ocean, The King Blues) produced sophomore record ‘The Wages Of Fear’ on June he 13th through their brand new home, Naim Edge Records.
Kingston label This Is Not Revolution Rock asked a few musicians to contribute their time and effort to a Christmas single of their own. To be released on December 20th – and therefore not in the running for the Christmas #1 (see earlier point re: no one cares) – the single is a cover that terrible Band Aid hit ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’, which isn’t that terrible, is it?
Here we have the first single to be taken from Tellison’s forthcoming new album. The single will be released on November 22nd through Big Scary Monsters as a 7″ and comes with a free 5 track digital EP. An interesting video for all of you with a love/hate relationship with IKEA furniture…
Tellison have been a MySpace Recommended Artist twice. They’ve released three sold out 7″ singles on Gravity DIP, New Slang and Banquet Records and feature on BSM’s 10 collection.
